Ukrainian corn exports over the Oct 01 2016- May 03, 2017 period were 11% higher on year. The current export surplus to Sep 30, 2017 stood at 3 mln mt (2015-16: 2.5 mln mt).   This increase is result of the large crop output of 2016-17 MY, built on higher yields and plantings.

Top destinations for Ukrainian corn exports include Italy, Spain, Egypt and Iran. Ukrainian corn exports to Iran rose to around 1.8 mln mt over the Oct 2016- March 2017  period.
