Brazilian soybean exports over the Feb 01-April 30, 2017 period were ahead of the levels seen on the previous season. This was down to a stronger soybean crop in 2016-17, which increased significantly the availability of soybeans for export.

Customs data suggests a drop in Brazilian exports to China over the Feb 2016 -Jan 2017 MY period. Conversely, Brazil increased sales of soybeans to Iran and Russia over the same time span.
