EU Corn exports to third countries over the Oct 01, 2016-April 25, 2017 period were 36% higher on year. This was down to a stronger 2016 crop, which resulted in a moderate increase of the availability of corn for export.
The moderate increase in exports did not prompt any significant change in export surplus because of the referred rise in crop output.
